Please use your discretion on if this event is the right fit for your family. \nParking:\nFree parking \nPlease select “attending” in the groups’ event for the most current updates as well as any last-minute meeting information for the day of the field trip. You will need to check in with Jillian\, please have your QR code ready when you arrive. \n***Masks will be required per the venue and the Maricopa County mask ordinance***\nThey are allowed to be off when you can properly social distance but will be required to enter any building\, when attending a show\, or when unable to social distance with other guests. \nWhile they were closed for Covid they completed a new safari area! \nRides:\nWe get a discount on the rides\, but they do not need to be prepurchased. If you go on one\, just let them know when getting tickets you are there with East Valley Secular Homeschoolers and you will get the discounted rates.\n* $2.00 per ride per school visitor (Adults and Students) for the Merry-Go-\nRound Ride.\n* $3.00 per ride per school visitor (Adults and Students) for the\nSafari Train Ride Safari Tram Ride or the Verizon Superpages Wildlife\nSkyride (must be 42” or taller to ride without an adult).\n* $3.00 per ride per school visitor (Adults and Students) for the\nFlume Ride (must be 42” or taller to ride).\n* $3.00 per ride per school visitor (Adults and Students) for the Vertigo\nSwing Ride (must be 48” or taller to ride).\n* $3.00 per ride per school visitor (Adults and Students) for the Family\nCoaster Ride (must be 36” with adult/42” or taller to ride alone).\n* $3.00 per ride per school visitor (Adults and Students) for the Flying\nScooters (must be 36” with adult/44” or taller to ride alone).\nNO DISCOUNT FOR THE ZIP LINE RIDE (must be 42” with\nadult/47” to ride alone). \nSpecial Features:\n* Wildlife Encounters Show:\nThis 15 to 20-minute presentation is offered twice per day. Showtimes are\n10:30 a.m. 11:30 and 2:30 p.m.\n* Sea Lion Show:\nShowtimes are at 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (shows may be canceled due\nto inclement weather)\n* Sea Lion Feeding:\nFeedings are at 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. (feedings may be canceled due\nto inclement weather)\n* Penguin Feeding By Staff:\nWatch the Penguin feedings by staff at 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.\n* Public Bird Feedings:\nLory Parrot feeding times are 11:00 a.m.\, 1:00 p.m. &; 3:00 p.m. daily.\n* Stingray Touch Tank:\nStingray feed is sold at this exhibit for $2.00 for school groups\n(approximately 3 pieces of feed).\n* Children’s Petting Zoo:\nAnimal feed is sold at this exhibit for $.50 cents.\n* Giraffe Feeding Station:\nAnimal feed is sold at this exhibit for $.50 cents.\n* Indoor Exhibits:\nThe Aquarium buildings with 80+ exhibits\, Animal Baby Nursery\, Tropics\nof the World Reptile Exhibit\, It’s a Small World Small Mammal exhibit\, 4\nAdventureland Exhibit buildings. \nFood:\nYou can bring food in. There are picnic areas to eat in. You can also purchase food there. They prefer you to bring them in a paper bag or reusable lunch box as plastic isn’t biodegradable and can harm the animals. \nPicnic Areas:\n* Picnic areas are located outdoors:\n1. West Side of Zoo: east of bleachers and show area adjacent to the\nTropics of the World Reptile exhibits.\n2. Southwest corner of Zoo: near the Sky ride loading area.\n3. Northeast corner of Zoo: next to the Congo Cooker Cafe. Please keep\nin mind that there is limited space.\n4. East entrance: close to the Flume ride.\n* To help the Zoo\, Aquarium & Safari Park maintains its natural setting\, as well as for animal safety\, remember to please clean your area before you leave. Please keep in mind there are other schools that will be sharing these outdoor picnic areas. \n
